Pray:  Begin by making the sign of the cross and calling upon God’s name.

From God to us, from death to life, from me to you … in the name of the Father, and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God, as we gather together today, help us to worship in faith and trust in your promises. Speak to us through the words of the Bible, that we would continue to grow in your grace. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Praise the Lord and pray in his name! Tell everyone what he has done.Sing praises to the Lord! Tell about his miracles.Celebrate and worship his holy name with all your heart.Trust the Lord and his mighty power.Remember his miracles and all his wonders and his fair decisions. Psalm 105:1-5 ESV

Engage: Talk about the Bible by having parents respond to children’s questions.

Child: What does it mean to worship God's name? Is that any different than worshipping God?

Child: Can you tell me about a time when you witnessed a miracle?

Affirm: Pray for God to put his Word into action in your daily life.

Lord God, give us a strong voice to praise your name and to share the wonders of your loving works with all world. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Lord God, as we gather together today, help us express our praise and thanks to you for all you have done for us. Speak to us through the words of the Bible, that our hearts would be renewed by your Holy Spirit, rejoicing in the promise of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

11 Let all who run to you
for protection
    always sing joyful songs.
Provide shelter for those

Lord God, in our times of need, help us to know and trust that you are always there for us. Remind us of your love and protection throughout every day of our lives. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
